About Us
Welcome to The Theater Center
Situated in the heart of New York's Theater District, The Theater Center has been a spot for Off-Broadway entertainment since opening in April 2005. Covering 20,000 square feet, our new complex includes two theaters, rehearsal spaces, spacious lobbies, WiFi, two bars, and merchandise stands.

As we prioritize accessibility, we offer features including wheelchair access, an elevator accessible from the 50th Street entrance, and assistive listening devices.

Featuring a variety of productions, acting classes, and event spaces, The Theater Center welcomes all to enjoy everything we have to offer.

Inside, the Anne L. Bernstein Theater hosts "Perfect Crime," New York's longest running play, while the Jerry Orbach Theater presents new productions including "The Office! A Musical Parody," "Friends! A Musical Parody," and "Singfeld! A Musical About Nothing," offering fresh takes on beloved classics.
Our Spaces
Location, Location, Location. The Theater Center is located in Broadway's Theater District; a prime location with easy access to mass transit, midtown hotels, and businesses. With the most economical pricing in the event industry and a warm and professional staff, it's the perfect venue for your next performance, rehearsal, corporate event, or reception.

The Theater Center is accessible via the elevator at the 50th Street entrance. All of our theaters and studios are wheelchair accessible. Both theaters are outfitted with RF Assistive Listening device transmitters. Please let us know at the Box Office or ask a theater representative if you require a receiver or any additional assistance.
Currently showing Perfect Crime. The Bernstein is a 199 seat proscenium theater, fully equipped with lights, projectors, and a built in sound system.

The fourth-floor studio is a 2,000-square-foot space equipped with a piano and folding chairs. It is adjacent to the Anne L. Bernstein Theater.
Currently showing The Friends Unauthorized Parody, The Office Parody, and Singfeld. The Jerry Orbach is a 3/4 Thrust, 199-seat, Black Box theater fully equipped with lights, and a built-in mic sound system. The dimensions are 27' x 11'. The amenities are WiFi, a large lobby area, a merch booth, and a bar with a full liquor license.
The third floor studio is a 2,000 square foot space with a piano and folding chairs. It is adjacent to the Jerry Orbach Theater.
